Last year, Chase was only a about a month old for Easter (and I was still getting used to the whole being a mama thing) so we skipped an Easter basket. But this year, our little guy is walking and talking (his own baby babble), so a fun Easter basket was definitely in order! We still don’t give him candy unless it’s a few bites of our ice cream after dinner, so the main focus isn’t sweets—but trust me when I say there are some super sweet items in there anyway. Have a peek below if you’re looking for some fun ideas for your toddler’s Easter basket!
Our little guy is growing at lightning speed, so I’m always on the hunt for new gear for him. Now that he’s walking, shoes are more of a necessity vs. just for the cuteness factor. I found these adorable chambray slip-ons (on sale for $16 with code SPRING), this cute romper and this darling baby fedora (each also on sale, for only $12 with code SPRING).
Chase loves his board books, so I picked up this one. It’s so cute!
You can never have too many teethers in my opinion! I got this adorable marble chewy bead one from one of my fave local shops in Newburyport, Salt & Grove.
Now that our little man is becoming much more aware of what’s happening around him, I wanted to get him a night light for his room. He’s always been such a great sleeper but has recently had a few random nights of waking at 2 or 3am, and his cry is a bit more fearful sounding. My thought—maybe he’s scared to wake in the dark? Hoping this sweet elephant night light from Pottery Barn Kids will help.
That’s it! I may add some peeps, because this boy loves his marshmallows. What are you putting in your babe’s basket this Easter? Would love to hear in the comments!
